Location: Silverest, Lusaka, Zambia

Gheewala Zambia is recruiting on behalf of a valued client for the position of Waiter/Waitress.
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a courteous, energetic, and customer-oriented Waiter/Waitress to deliver exceptional customer service by taking and serving food and beverage orders while maintaining a clean, welcoming, and professional dining environment.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome, seat, and serve customers professionally.
Present menus and assist customers with meal selections.
Accurately take and communicate customer orders.
Serve food and beverages efficiently.
Respond promptly to customer requests and resolve concerns.
Set up and clear tables.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and service stations.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Grade 12 School Certificate with a minimum of five (5) O-Level credits.
Minimum two (2) years' experience in a similar hospitality role.
Certificate or training in Food & Beverage Service, Hospitality Management, or a related field is an added advantage.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong verbal communication skills in English and a local language.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to work under pressure.
Strong teamwork and organizational skills.
Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
