CIDRZ is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Research Data Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact HIV research projects, including the P-CoRE Study, Bwelela Easy Study, and the Czaicki Impact Fellowship, while supporting evidence-based public health interventions in Zambia.


Key Responsibilities


✅ Extract, manage, and analyse research data from multiple sources, including SmartCare and electronic health records (EHRs).

✅ Conduct advanced statistical analyses and data visualisation to support research and policy development.

✅ Prepare publication-ready tables, figures, and analytical reports.

✅ Create secondary datasets for ongoing and future research projects.

✅ Support Principal Investigators with data analysis and interpretation.

✅ Perform data quality reviews and ensure completeness and accuracy.

✅ Develop analytical frameworks and support research capacity building.

✅ Collaborate with multidisciplinary research teams to inform programme implementation.


Qualifications & Requirements


✅ Master’s Degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Data Science, or a related field.

✅ At least 3 years’ experience analysing health or epidemiological data.

✅ Strong knowledge of advanced statistical methods, including causal inference techniques.

✅ Experience using R or Stata for data management, modelling, and visualisation.

✅ Experience working with SmartCare or other Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is an added advantage.

✅ Knowledge of survival analysis, longitudinal modelling, and multilevel analysis.

✅ Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
