Sandvik is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Boiler Maker.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

✅ Perform welding and metal fabrication works.

✅ Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal surfaces.

✅ Fabricate and rebuild drill pipes through welding.

✅ Conduct bit grinding and assist in servicing rock tools such as hammers and drill bits.

✅ Maintain production and quality standards during fabrication processes.

✅ Read and interpret blueprints, welding diagrams, and technical drawings.

✅ Support workshop and mining site operations while adhering to safety standards.

✅ Minimum Requirements

✔️ Trade Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Metal Fabrication or a related field.

✔️ 3–5 years of experience in welding and fabrication.

✔️ Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols.

✔️ Good knowledge of fabrication processes and use of hand tools.

✔️ Ability to learn bit grinding and rock tool repairs.

✔️ A Class C Driver’s Licence and HiAB operating experience will be an added advantage.
