Mongu Municipal Council invites applications from suitably qualified and motivated individuals for the position of *Data Entry Clerk* on temporary basis for a period of *three (3) months*.

Position Overview

Temporary position for three (3) months

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Certificate or Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • Proficient in computer applications; strong knowledge of MS Excel and data entry systems
  • Strong knowledge of web applications and DBMS
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Previous data entry experience will be an added advantage
  • Good communication skills both written and oral
  • Must be a Zambian citizen based in Mongu District, with a Green National Registration card
  • Must be sober minded, reliable and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Must be between 18–45 years old

  • Accurate capture and validation of data
  • Updating and maintenance of records
  • Ensuring data accuracy, completeness and confidentiality
  • Assisting in data retrieval and preparation of reports
