1. Chiller/Aircondition Technician (5 Positions)

Openings: 5 Positions
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Lusaka

Job Overview: Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of industrial and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including chillers and cooling towers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily monitoring of all chiller conditions
  • Install, maintain & repair chillers & all other refrigeration systems
  • Troubleshoot & repair mechanical/electrical issues
  • Inspect & test components to ensure proper working
  • Conduct regular maintenance (Preventive/Periodic) to minimize downtime
  • Implement safety protocols
  • Diagnose & resolve issues with refrigerant levels & other components
  • Ensure equipment and machinery are in good working condition
  • Upholding safety and quality standards
  • A Certificate/Diploma in refrigeration technology
  • Direct work in same field independently & minimum 3 years of experience
  • Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia
  • Knowledge to troubleshoot issues that occur with machinery and equipment
  • Good physical health
  • Punctuality and efficiency
  • Knowledge of refrigeration systems & components
  • Proficient in mechanical/electrical/electronics

2. Mechanical Fitter (67 Positions)

Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Lusaka

Job Overview: Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment and machinery in the manufacturing facility.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for any repair and maintenance in the shift
  • Up-keeping of the standby equipment
  • Preventive and annual maintenance planning
  • Responsible for the 5S, Top5, Top15 and Top60 targets
  • Mechanical Diploma or relevant qualification
  • Minimum of 1 to 7 years' experience in the Food or related Industries
  • Thorough knowledge of maintenance and hands-on experience
  • Knowledge of Human safety and Equipment safety

Job Overview: Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures in industrial setting.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fittings, and fixtures
  • Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed
  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Certificate in Plumbing or related program

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Read, interpret and comply with welding plans and technical specifications
  • Weld and adjust different metal structures
  • Ensure safety by wearing protective equipment

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a busy workshop
  • Proficiency in welding techniques

  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods
  • Ensure vehicles are always in good working condition

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • C1 or CE valid driver's license
  • 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing industry
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performing machining jobs in line with HSE requirements
  • Carrying out workshop equipment maintenance
  • Spearheading housekeeping
  • Participating in HSE activities
  • Craft certificate in Machining
  • 3 years minimum experience in Machine shop management
  • Good technical drawing, lathe operation skills
  • Good milling machine operation and drilling machine operation skills
  • Good ability to make own tools

8. Lab Technician (1 Position)

Openings: 1 Position
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Lusaka

Job Overview: Responsible for inspecting and testing incoming packaging materials and resolving quality issues.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming packaging materials
  • Conduct standard tests including Dimension, GSM, Bursting Strength, BCT etc.
  • Benchmark packaging quality using market samples
  • Address and resolve packaging related quality issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment
  • Tag non-conforming materials with appropriate identification
  • Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology, Packaging Technology, or related field
  • Experience in plastic packaging industry preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience in packaging quality control
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure

9. IT Technician (1 Position)

Job Overview: Provide technical support, maintenance, and repair of computer systems in manufacturing facilities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and assistance to users
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software
