Zambia Health Education and Communication Trust (ZHECT) is an indigenous Zambian Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), registered with the Registrar of Societies in 2001 under the laws of Zambia. ZHECT is committed to delivering high quality health services, social behaviour change interventions, research, and capacity building initiatives aimed at improving the health and well being of communities across Zambia.

Organization Overview:

With extensive experience in capacity building, ZHECT specializes in providing Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and HIV prevention and mitigation services to organizations and communities, primarily within Zambia. The organization also works in areas such as Gender Based Violence (GBV), Cervical Cancer Screening and Linkage Creation, Economic Empowerment etc, with a focus on vulnerable and hard to reach populations.

In response to a 'Request for Proposals (RFP)', ZHECT is establishing a pool of qualified, dedicated, and passionate professionals in specialized fields. Shortlisted candidates will be selected to support the strengthening of HIV and health systems in Central and Copperbelt Provinces, providing clinical care, targeted technical assistance, and health system support to improve health outcomes.

Laboratory Scientists Requirements:

  • Diploma in Biomedical Sciences with 5 years' relevant working experience
  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences with 3 years' relevant working experience
  • Minimum 3 years' working experience in molecular testing laboratory
