COUNCIL DRIVER POSITION (2 POSITIONS AVAILABLE)

Positions: 2 Council Driver positions
Deadline: 26th December, 2025

Mpika Town Council hereby notifies the general public that applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill two (02) positions of *Council Driver* on a permanent and pensionable establishment.

  • Safely and efficiently transport authorised Council staff and goods to designated destinations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely logbooks and trip records.
  • Ensure the assigned vehicle is kept in good mechanical condition, including conducting routine checks and timely reporting faults.
  • Ensure adherence to all road traffic regulations and Council policies at all times.
  • Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by the supervisor to support Council operations.
  • Must be a Zambian Citizen.
  • Must be between 18 and 45 years.
  • Must be a holder of a Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate.
  • Must have a driver's licence class C or better.
  • Working experience will be an added advantage.
  • Integrity.
  • Honest and Trust worth.
  • Professional appearance and manner.
  • Good communication skills.
