About the Company

The Poultry Shop is your one-stop poultry store, dedicated to providing quality services and products to clients across Lusaka. We are expanding our team and seeking qualified individuals for various roles to support our operations and client service.

Available Positions

  • Paravet – Diploma in Animal Science, registered with Veterinary Association of Zambia (VAZ)
  • Trainee Paravet – Diploma in Animal Science, registered with VAZ
  • Agronomist – Diploma in Agriculture (Agronomy)
  • Trainee Agronomist – Diploma in Agriculture (Agronomy)
  • Cashier – Diploma in General Agriculture (Accounting background advantageous)
  • Assistant Cashier – Certificate/Diploma in Accounting
  • General Assistant – No formal qualifications required

Key Responsibilities

  • Paravet: Dispense medication, diagnose animal diseases, advise clients on animal health.
  • Trainee Paravet: Assist Senior Paravet in veterinary and client support functions.
  • Agronomist: Advise clients on crop production, pest management, prepare input orders.
  • Trainee Agronomist: Assist Agronomist in client service and order preparation.
  • Cashier: Manage sales, payments, and daily cash reconciliation.
  • Assistant Cashier: Support cashier in transactions and sales record-keeping.
  • General Assistant: Cleaning, stock arrangement, general shop support.
