The company is expanding its Tanker Fleet Department and invites applications from ambitious, detail-oriented individuals ready to grow in the logistics industry.

🎯 Job Purpose

The Fuel Truck Intern will assist in the management and coordination of the company’s tanker fleet operations. This position offers hands-on exposure to real logistics processes, with the possibility of full-time employment as an Operations Officer upon outstanding performance.

🛠️ Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Driver Communication & Supervision: Coordinate and guide drivers on loading plans, ensuring proper compliance with instructions.
  • Loading Orders: Prepare and dispatch accurate loading orders on time to all assigned drivers.
  • Tracking Reports: Compile and send daily tracking updates by 09:00 hours to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Operational Support: Expedite loading, border clearance, and offloading procedures to ensure timely cargo delivery.
  • Demurrage Management: Process and document demurrage claims as per company and client policy after the allowable delay period.
  • Manifest Generation: Prepare accurate fleet manifests for all dispatched tankers in line with regulatory standards.

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Transport and Logistics or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates from The Copperbelt University (CBU) are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • At least 1 year of experience in fuel tanker or logistics operations.
  • Knowledge of transport accounting and reporting is an added advantage.
  • Preference will be given to applicants residing in Ndola or the Copperbelt region.
