Unicorn Logistics Zambia Limited is scaling aggressively and repositioning for regional logistics excellence. The organisation is onboarding capable, compliant, and experienced Cross-Border Truck Drivers to support growing operations across Zambia and the SADC region.

Position Details

  • Position: Cross-Border Truck Drivers
  • Location: Lusaka
  • Department: Transport and Logistics

Job Purpose

The role ensures safe, compliant, and timely transportation of cargo within Zambia and across key SADC routes. Drivers will maintain operational discipline, uphold safety standards, and guarantee the secure delivery of goods.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Transport cargo safely across Zambia and SADC countries, adhering to all traffic laws.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Report mechanical faults to the Fleet Manager and Workshop immediately.
  • Report all incidents promptly, regardless of size.
  • Ensure all truck documentation is valid and compliant.
  • Maintain accurate trip records including loading, borders, and offloading.
  • Scan and submit Proof of Delivery (POD) documents during each trip.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Fleet Manager.
  • Keep the truck clean, safe, and properly maintained.
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism and customer service.

  • NRC (Age: 25–55)
  • Letter/Reference/Certificate of Service
  • Dangerous Goods Certificate (ITC, Belsam, Enac)
  • Covid Certificate
  • Yellow Fever Book
  • Valid Police Clearance (Not older than 6 months)
  • Medical Certificate
  • Utility Bill (Proof of Residence)
  • Proof of ability to read and write
  • 3–5 years experience as an international truck driver (DRC, Mozambique, Tanzania, etc.)
