Job Title: General Worker
Reports to: Site Supervisor /Operations Officer
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable construction worker to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in various construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform manual labor tasks, such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials
2. Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and equipment
3. Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers
4. Follow safety procedures and protocols
5. Clean and maintain the worksite
6. Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals
Requirements:
1. Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
2. Basic understanding of construction principles and practices
3. Ability to follow instructions and work independently
4. Good communication and teamwork skills
5. Relevant experience or training in construction (preferred)
Working Conditions:
1. Work on-site, often in outdoor environments
2. May require working at heights, in confined spaces, or with hazardous materials
3. May involve overtime, shift work, or weekend work
