Job Description
A Direct Sales Agent is responsible for promoting and selling products or services directly to consumers or businesses, often through face-to-face interactions, presentations, and demonstrations. Their key responsibilities include:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identifying potential customers through various channels, such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Product Presentations: Conducting sales presentations, demonstrations, and pitches to educate prospects about products or services.
- Building Relationships: Maintaining relationships with customers, providing personalized service, and support to understand their needs and preferences.
- Sales Targets: Achieving sales targets, quotas, and KPIs set by management, consistently meeting or exceeding performance goals.
- Customer Service: Resolving customer complaints, issues, or disputes promptly and effectively, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: College diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in direct sales, field sales, or customer-facing roles, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-making.
Essential Skills
- Communication Skills: Clear and persuasive communication to build rapport and convince clients.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate terms favorably while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Self-Motivation and Discipline: Essential for managing schedules and meeting sales targets.
Compensation
- A monthly retainer of K1,500 will be paid on condition that at least one sale is closed in a particular month plus 10% commission of gross profit of every sale closed.
