 Beit CURE Children’s Hospital of Zambia is a medical facility dedicated to providing free, life-changing reconstructive, Orthopaedic, ENT, and audiological surgeries to children with treatable disabilities

Beit CURE seeks to recruit qualified candidates to serve as Registered Nurses

Location:Lusaka

POSITION SUMMARY

Ensuring the provision of quality patient care through facilitation, supervision and supporting the spiritual ministry of the hospital

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver and uphold high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical teams.

Support quality assurance initiatives and maintain clinical standards across nursing services.

Participate in patient reviews with doctors and ensure timely execution of medical orders.

Foster effective communication with doctors, surgeons, and multidisciplinary staff

Contribute to departmental goal-setting and ensure team alignment with standard

Maintain accurate patient records and uphold inventory control of medical supplies and equipment.

Promote infection prevention through rigorous hygiene practices.

Mentor new staff and support professional development through continuous education.

Build compassionate relationships with patients, guardians, and coworkers to enhance care delivery

EDUCATION

Grade 12 certificate and Diploma in Nursing (Degree is an added advantage)

valid practicing certificate

ENT, Orthopedic and Plastic skills preferred

Proven ability to deliver high-quality patient care

Strong knowledge of patient management principles and techniques

Excellent communication, leadership, and planning skills

KEY COMPETENCIES:

  Strong organizational and administrative abilities

   Skilled in teaching clinical techniques to fellow medical staff

   Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills

High level of personal and team accountability

Multitasking capability with fluency in English and at least two local languages

Qualifications: Education and/or Experience Required at Entry: (Skills, Abilities, Special Licenses or Certificate): 

Full grade twelve (12) certificate

Diploma in Nursing, Degree will be an added advantage

Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience

Valid practicing certificate

ENT, Plastic and Orthopaedic skills will be an added advantage 1-3 years’ experience

To provide high quality clinical care to patients of Beit Cure Hospital
