📋 Job Overview

New Fairmount Hotel is seeking a qualified and experienced Front Office / Reception Manager to oversee guest services, lead the reception team, and ensure exceptional front-of-house operations. The role reports directly to Senior Management.

🎓 Qualifications, Experience & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or Higher Diploma in Business or Management-related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ managerial experience, ideally in the hospitality sector.

💼 Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure professional reception and guest experience of the highest standard.
  • Oversee and manage room reservations and booking operations.
  • Recruit, train, and manage reception and meeting coordination staff.
  • Conduct appraisals, performance reviews, and monthly staff meetings.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor the front office team.
  • Review and enhance operational standards and implement best practices.
  • Manage reception rota and staffing schedules.
  • Oversee software upgrades and system improvements.
  • Monitor budgets and produce regular operational reports.
  • Coordinate VIP functions and events.
